Philadelphia 76ers Hall of Fame guard Allen Iverson wore this black Sixers road jersey and shorts during the 1997-98 NBA season, Iverson’s second year in the Association. The reigning Rookie of the Year starred for the 76ers, averaging a team-high 22.0 points and 6.2 assists per game for the Atlantic Division team. Iverson’s career with the Sixers remains one of the most important tenures in Philadelphia sports, with “Bubba Chuck” winning four scoring titles as a Sixer and single-handedly leading Philadelphia to the 2001 NBA Finals - the first appearance for the 76ers in the NBA Finals since the 1982-83 season. Iverson retired after the 2011 NBA season and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016 with career averages of 26.7 points and 6.2 assists per game.

This offered Sixers road jersey is black with a large Sixers logo patch sewn on the chest. Iverson’s iconic number “3” is sewn on the chest and back in white and red tackle twill. “IVERSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and red tackle twill. A 76ers “Body Length +2” and Champion size “42” tags are sewn on the front left tail. Iverson has signed the “3” digit on the back of this jersey in black marker.

The shorts included with this lot are also black and sport a Sixers logo sewn on the lower right leg. An NBA logo patch is sewn on the lower left leg. A 76ers and Champion size “40” tags are sewn inside the shorts. Iverson’s number “3” is handwritten in black marker on the size tag. This uniform comes with a LOA from the Philadelphia 76ers and a LOA from JSA (Z76935).
