New England Patriots running back and special teamer Dave Meggett wore this white Patriots road jersey during the 1997 NFL season. Meggett was the primary return man for the Patriots in 1997, bringing back 45 punts for 467 yards and 33 kickoffs for 816 yards, while also notching a touchdown both rushing and receiving. Meggett, a Super Bowl winner with the Giants in Super Bowl XXV, helped the Patriots to a 10-6 season and a playoff appearance under head coach Pete Carroll.
This offered Patriots road jersey is white, with Meggett’s number “22” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in red and blue tackle twill. “MEGGETT” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Patriot logos and Starter logos are sewn on each sleeve. A NFL Pro Line/Starter size “48” tag is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with an RGU LOA.
