Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro inside linebacker Levon Kirkland wore this white Steelers road jersey during Pittsburgh’s 20-13 road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on October 26th, 1998 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Steelers opened the scoring with a blocked punt recover in the endzone, with their ferocious defense holding the Chiefs to a single touchdown in a tenacious performance on the road. Kirkland, a former Clemson Tiger, finished the season with 117 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles for Pittsburgh’s top ten defense.
This offered Steelers road jersey is white, with Kirkland’s number “99” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in black tackle twill. “KIRKLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in yellow and black tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Nike swoosh logos are sewn on both sleeves, while a NFL logo patch and a Steelers logo are sewn on the chest. A Nike Pro Line tag is sewn on the front left tail.
