Known for his clutch shooting, Robert Horry, also called “Big Shot Bob,” had a big hand in the Los Angeles Lakers’ first of three straight NBA championships in the 1999-00 season. This game-used Lakers road jersey was donned by Horry during Los Angeles’ 4-2 series win over the Pacers --- one of seven NBA titles for the sharpshooter. Horry’s best contest of the series came in a Game 4 win, when he scored 17 points to help the Lakers to a 3-1 series edge. The purple L.A. jersey features “LAKERS” across the front and “HORRY” across the back in gold-on-white tackle twill. Horry’s number “5” appears on both sides in white-on-gold tackle twill. The right chest of the jersey features a stitched “NBA FINALS” patch, while the left shoulder features a stitched black band memorializing the death of Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlin. A “Nike” manufacturer’s tag appears on the front tail, size 56, and includes an additional “LENGTH +6” tag. The jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with an LOA from D.C. Sports Collectibles.
