Hall of Famer Chipper Jones’ 1999 season saw the switch-hitter banging out 45 home runs, 110 RBI and a batting average of .319. Jones won the National League MVP and led the Braves into the postseason. He was particularly vicious against the Braves NL East rival, the New York Mets. Going into the last week of the season, Jones single-handedly put the nail in the coffin of the Mets pennant hopes by slamming four home runs and driving in seven runs during the two team’s three-game series in September.

Jones’ 1999 season Glomar G-320 model bat is uncracked and exhibits excellent use. Several ball marks with stitch impressions and white leather ball scuffs are found on all sides of the barrel. A light coat of pine tar has been applied to the handle and the length “35,” and weight “33” are stamped into the knob and Jones’ number “10” is handwritten in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in strong silver marker adding his number “10.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16834) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from PSA/DNA (AG07149) for the signature.
