Coming on the heels of his 1999 National League Most Valuable Player performance, Hall of Famer Chipper Jones entered the 2000 season looking to once again star for his Atlanta Braves. Jones would have another terrific season as he belted 36 home runs, drove in 111 and maintained a solid .311 batting average. Jones would make his fourth All-Star Game appearance, and this one was special as it was at his home field – Turner Field in Atlanta.
Offered is this Atlanta Braves Chipper Jones home button-down game jersey manufactured by Russell Athletic. This size 48 jersey features “Braves” sewn on the front in red and navy blue tackle twill with a tomahawk sewn on in the same colors with gold some gold stitching. Navy blue/red/navy blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and an inch off the sleeve ends. The back of the jersey has “C. JONES” sewn on in navy blue on a matching white nameplate and the number “10” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. The MLB logo patch is sewn on in red, white and navy blue on the upper back neck, above the piping. The right sleeve has the “2000 All-Star Game” patch sewn on while the Russell Athletic logo is embroidered in red and navy blue on the left sleeve. The Russell Athletic tag is sewn on the bottom of the front left tail with a tag below that reads “8-00”.
