The soon-to-be Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant wore these Adidas The KOBE sneakers during the 2000-01 NBA season. Bryant, a graduate of Philadelphia’s Lower Merion High School, led the Lakers to the second of their three consecutive NBA titles in 2000-01, defeating the overmatched Philadelphia 76ers in a five-game Finals. Bryant averaged 28.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and an even 5 assists per game in 2000-01, upping his scoring to 29.4 points per game during the playoffs. These offered Adidas The KOBE sneakers (later dubbed the “Crazy 1”) are white with black and gray accents. The laces are black and white, and an Adidas logo is embroidered on the tongue in black. Kobe has signed the outside heel of both size 14 shoes in black marker. These shoes originate from the personal memorabilia collection of Tyronn Lue, who was gifted the shoes by Bryant after a game. These shoes come with a LOA from Tyronn Lue and a LOA from JSA (Z59983). Please note that Tyronn Lue is donating 100% of his proceeds from the sale of this item to the United Methodist Church of Mexico, Missouri.
