Harper started all three games for Los Angeles, finishing as the team’s second leading scorer in Game 3, with 14 points. Harper averaged 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in the Finals after scoring four points in Los Angeles’ 120-118 win in Game 4 and eight points in the Lakers’ 120-87 loss in Game 5. Harper, playing in his first season with the Lakers, would help the team repeat the next season to win his fifth NBA title.
