The 2001 St. Louis Rams seemed to score at will, leading the NFL with an amazing 31.4 points scored per game. Defenses certainly had their work cut out for them in trying to stop the Rams many potent weapons. Quarterback Kurt Warner was the NFL MVP as he threw for 4,830 yards, 375 completions and 36 touchdowns – all league highs! For the second time in three seasons, the Rams headed back to the Super Bowl, with only the emergence of Tom Brady and a last second 48-yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri preventing the Rams from winning another Super Bowl.

Offered here is the navy home mesh jersey worn by Kurt Warner during his dominant 2001 season and playoffs that has been photo matched to four games by Resolution Photomatching. The four games this jersey has been photo matched to are the December 17th, 2001 game and three games in January of 2002, including the January 6th and 20th and the NFC Championship Game on January 27th. Detailed matches have been made using the sewn on numbers on the front.

The numbers on this size 50 Reebok jersey have all been sewn on in gold and white tackle twill on the front, back and shoulders. The shoulders and sleeves are bisected with gold and white stripes and “Rams” is embroidered in white below the gold V-neck collar, which also has the NFL shield logo patch. A white patch that reads “01-50” is sewn on the inside back collar. The sides of the jersey have a gold Spandex vertical stripe, while each sleeve has the Rams’ logo patch and Reebok patch. The Reebok tag with the Rams helmet and “Designed and engineered to the exact specifications of the St. Louis Rams” and “6” L.B.” and “50” flags is sewn on the bottom of the front left tail. The back has “WARNER” sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching navy nameplate. A great game from Warner’s MVP 2001 season and this comes with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426311), who have photo matched this jersey to the December 17th, January 6th, January 20th an January 27th games.
