The offered medal is silver, with a blue-white-blue ribbon attached to the medal. Etched around the border in high relief is “The Miami Project To Cure Paralysis”. A Miami Project To Cure Paralysis logo is etched in the middle of this silver medal in high relief. This medal comes in the original presentation box, which features a placard etched with “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar / The Sixteenth Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner / October 2, 2001” applied to the top. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
