The complete "Masters Collection" is presented. This extensive and important release – created by premium trading card manufacturer Upper Deck for 2001, and including the time's biggest PGA stars – effectively inaugurated the "modern era" of golf card collecting that has continued to grow in popularity. Highlights of this series are the issue's #1 card of Tiger Woods (in a Rookie Card appearance), as well as an additional Tiger card that's been signed by the Hall of Famer. Other "Masters Collection" entries include signed cards (Palmer, Montgomerie) and patch/relic collectibles. The cards reflect essentially uncirculated presentation quality. The set is housed in a grand and glorious, specially conceived wooden ark that's bedecked with ornamental golf balls and tees, as well as decorative, metallic components and custom trays to facilitate protection and viewing of key items.
