At just 22 years of age and already in his fifth season in the league, Kobe Bryant led the Los Angeles Lakers to their second straight championship in 2001, following up a 56-win season with a ridiculous 15-1 playoff run that culminated with an NBA title over the Philadelphia 76ers. The Lakers would complete the three-peat in 2002, and Kobe would add a fourth and fifth ring to his collection in 2009 & 2010, retiring in 2016 with the third most points scored in league history. This Spalding 2001 NBA Finals basketball has been signed by the two-time NBA Finals MVP in bold black marker, Bryant’s signature sweeping across the length of the basketball on the blank panel above the “2001 NBA Finals Lakers vs. 76ers” logo. Only game balls possess this logo. This signed basketball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AB01887).
