The hardest thing for any athlete to do is to replace a legend. However, for Aaron Rodgers, his three years as Brett Favre’s understudy paid dividends for the Green Bay Packers as the fleet footed and deadly accurate quarterback has led the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XLV and has won the NFL MVP Award twice.

     Before Rodgers made his mark at the University of California and was drafted by the Packers in the first Round in 2005, Rodgers played one season at Butte Community College in northern California in 2002. The Junior College proved to be a perfect stepping stone for Rodgers as his play caught the eye of the Bears and he earned a scholarship for the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

     Offered is an extremely rare Aaron Rodgers jersey. This Butte Roadrunners white jersey was worn by Rodgers during his one and only season with the school. This white mesh jersey has the number “4” heat-pressed on the front, back and shoulders. Ironic that Rodgers wore number “4” as he would be tasked with replacing the legendary number “4” in Green Bay. This Nike size L jersey has three black stripes on each sleeve and the v-neck collar is black. The sleeves have been tailored to fit over the shoulder pads and each sleeve is capped off with a blacked ribbed material. The Nike tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail and Rodgers signed his name on the upper left chest and inscribed “BC Pride!” This remarkable jersey shows evidence of solid use with numerous marks and abrasions. This jersey comes with a LOA from Butte College Athletic Director Craig Rigsbee, authenticating the jersey's game use and Rodgers' signature. It also comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z56861) for the signature.
