Created just before World War I, the British Aston Martin Company is one of the most renowned sports car manufacturers in the world, but due to the war’s outbreak was unable to create their well-oiled machines until 1921. Fast forward 80 years and the company, at this time owned by Ford Motor Company, begin producing the Aston Martin Vanquish, a successor to the aging Virage name. The Vanquish continued production until 2007 (and was restarted in late 2013).

Offered is one of the premier sports cars in the world, a 2002 Vanquish in pristine condition with just over 5,000 miles. This is not just any old Vanquish which rolled off the assembly line, but one which is the Official 50th Anniversary Hall of Fame car, a one-of-one car featuring the signatures of 99 basketball Hall of Famers and stars! This tremendous sports car has been custom wrapped with an NBA “Hardwood” vinyl wrapping before being signed by basketball legends including Marv Albert, Ray Allen, Nate Archibald, Al Attles, Geno Aueriema, Rick Barry, Dick Bavetta, Andy Bernstein, Dave Bing, Carol Blazejowski, Hubie Brown, Larry Brown, Doris Burke, Jim Calhoun, John Calipari, Rick Carlisle, Van Chancellor, Maurice Cheeks, Jerry Colangelo, Dave Cowens, Billy Cunningham, Louie Dampier, Mel Daniels, Anne Donovan, Eddie Doucette, Lefty Driesell, Teresa Edwards, Julius Erving, Mike Fratello, Nick Galis, Lindsay Gaze, Artis Gilmore, James Goldstein, Russ Granik, Draymond Green, Richie Guerin, Tim Hardaway, Luscia Harris Stewart, Sylvia Hatchel, Spencer Haywood, Tom Heinsohn, Grant Hill, Bailey Howell, Robert Hughes, Dan Issel, Allen Iverson, Tom Izzo, Mannie Jackson, Phil Jackson, Tom Jernstedt, Bernard King, Phil Knight, Meadowlark Lemon, Bobby Leonard, Lisa Leslie, Nancy Lieberman, Rebecca Lobo, Sarunas Marciulionis, Tracy McGrady, Katrina McClain, Muffet McGraw, Annie Meyers Drysdale, Yao Ming, Earl Monroe, Alonzo Mourning, Chris Mullin, Calvin Murphy, Dikembe Mutombo, Steve Nash, Don Nelson, Hank Nichols, Lute Olsen, Shaquille O'Neal, Gary Payton, George Raveling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Nolan Richardson, Mitch Richmond, Cathy Rush, Ralph Sampson, Charlie Scott, Bill Self, Adam Silver, Katie Smith, David Stern, C. Vivian Stringer, Sheryl Swoopes,  Rod Thorn, Dwayne Wade, Chet Walker, Bill Walton, Rick Welts, JoJo White, Jamal Wilkes, Dominique Wilkins, Lenny Wilkens, Roy Williams, Gary Williams and Lynette Woodard.

On each side is a basketball with ESPN insignia, and the hood has the Children’s Safety Network logo and “50th Anniversary Hall of Fame”. This car was originally obtained directly from the Children’s Safety Network in 2012 as a charitable purchase. The 2002 Aston Martin Vanquish is a two-door luxury coupe featuring a 460 HP, 5.9-litre V12 engine with a 6-speed overdrive enabled transmission. This car is not for the faint of heart! Remembering this custom car was produced in 2002, it still boasts a wide array of luxury amenities, and its safety features are top of the line. When it comes to luxury, the Vanquish does not disappoint its owner. The Vanquish is also one of the most famous sports cars in history as it was the “James Bond car” in the Pierce Brosnan movie “Die Another Day.” In fact, the Vanquish was ranked the third best movie car of all time behind the Mini’s from 1969’s The Italian Job, and the DB5 from two other Bond films, Goldenfinger and Thunderball.

This offered vehicle has been appraised by the Classic Auto Appraisers out of Irvine, CA. Classic Auto Appraisers is the official appraisal company for Barrett-Jackson Auction Company, the best collector car auction company in the country. This is a one of a kind classic car, which received much acclaim as a true piece of NBA memorabilia as well as being one of the best sports cars in the world. It is in fantastic condition, with very little mileage as well as the signatures of 99 of the greatest basketball players in the world. Additionally, there is a LOA from the James Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Winning bidder must either pick up the car at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts or make arrangements to have it shipped.
