In his 2003-2004, rookie season with the Denver Nuggets, Carmelo Anthony became the second youngest player to score 30 points in a game at 19 years, 151 days, dropping 30 on the L.A. Clippers on November 7, 2003. Four months later he became the second youngest player to score 40 points in a game with a 41-point performance against Seattle, setting a new Denver Nuggets single-game, rookie record. By the end of the season Anthony became the first NBA rookie to lead his team in scoring since David Robinson of the San Antonio Spurs in 1990-1991. “Melo” wore this shiny blue, white and yellow Nuggets jersey with white and yellow side piping during his magical rookie season. Anthony’s name is sewn in white tackle twill across the back and signed by Anthony in black marker on the first digit of his number 15 also stitched in white, blue and yellow tackle twill on the back of the jersey. Denver and number 15 are stitched on the front of the jersey with letter N patch adhered at the apex of yellow V-Neck collar with NBA logo patch on left front breast. NBA Authentic logo and DN Team Apparel labels with “2003-2004” “2” L.B.” and size “52” tags and rubber “Play Dry” are all attached on the lower left front tail; comes with full JSA letter of authenticity certification number X16372 and Mears grade of A-5.
