Presented here is the jersey and pants worn by Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander in two games during the 2004 NFL season. Alexander was one of the best running backs in the NFL during the 2000s, making three Pro Bowls and winning the 2005 NFL MVP award.

     The first game, an October 10th, 2004 contest against the St. Louis Rams, finished 33-27 in favor of the Rams at Qwest Field in Seattle. Alexander carried the ball 23 times in this game, rushing for 150 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks overtime loss. The second game, which took place on October 31st, 2004, was a 23-17 win over the visiting Carolina Panthers. Alexander stole the show in this game, rushing for 195 yards and a touchdown, while also catching three passes for 13 yards and a touchdown. Alexander finished the 2004 season with 1,696 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, with an additional four scores coming through the air.

     This teal Reebok jersey features Alexander’s number “37” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white-on-navy blue tackle twill. “SEAHAWKS” is embroidered in white above the numbers and below the NFL Equipment shield. “ALEXANDER” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill on a teal mesh nameplate. A Seahawks logo is sewn on each sleeve below a white and navy Reebok logo. The sleeves and collar is ringed with a navy and neon green band. A “04-46-D” tag is sewn in the back inside collar. This jersey shows excellent signs of game use, with turf marks all over the jersey and a small tear to the left of the “7” digit on the back.

     Also included are the pants Alexander wore in this game. The teal pants have a teal belt, and navy laces on the front. A NFL Equipment shield is sewn on the left thigh, while a white and teal Reebok logo graces the right. A “Seattle Seahawks 37” tag is applied to the waistband.
