The Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Brooks wore this red Tampa Bay Buccaneers home jersey during the 2005 NFL season, his 11th season in the NFL. The former Florida State star was omnipresent for the Buccaneers defense in 2005, making 125 tackles with three sacks, an interception, and 11 passes defended. Brooks was named First Team All-Pro for the fifth time in his career as the 11-5 Buccaneers finished the season with a top-ten defense. Brooks retired after the 2008 NFL season and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
This offered Buccaneers home jersey has Brooks’ number “55” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white, orange, and black tackle twill. “BROOKS” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching red nameplate. A Buccaneers 30th Anniversary logo patch is sewn on the chest, while a pirate ship logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A NFL logo patch and a “Buccaneers” wordmark are sewn on the chest. An “05-44” swatch with a handwritten “16” is sewn on the back inside collar. Brooks has signed the first “5” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. This jersey comes with an RGU LOA and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25427) for the signature.
