Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Daniel “Boobie” Gibson wore this white Cavaliers home jersey during the 2007 NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. The Cavaliers, constructed around the monumental talent of a then-22-year-old LeBron James, fought hard against Gregg Popovich’s Spurs in LeBron’s first career Finals appearance, although San Antonio would emerge the winners in four games. Games 3 and 4, 75-72 and 83-82 Spurs victories, were played at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, with Gibson starting both games. For the series, Gibson averaged 10.8 points and 2.5 assists while playing the second-most minutes per game of any Cleveland player.

This offered Cavaliers home jersey has “Cavaliers” across the chest in red and gold lettering. Gibson’s number “1” is sewn on the chest and back in navy and gold tackle twill, while “GIBSON” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and gold tackle twill. An NBA Finals patch, a Cavaliers logo, and an NBA logo patch are applied to the chest. An Adidas tag with attached size “46”, “ClimaLite”, “2006-2007”, and “+4 Length” flags is sewn on the front left tail.

This jersey has been signed on the chest by 13 of Gibson’s Cavaliers teammates, including the incomparable LeBron James. Additional signatures include Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Ira Newble, Sasha Pavlovic, Donyell Marshall, Damon Jones, David Wesley, Drew Gooden, Eric Snow, Anderson Varejao, Shannon Brown, Larry Hughes, and one other. The signatures have been written in black marker. This jersey comes with a LOA signed by Daniel Gibson. A LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication also accompanies this lot.
