The 2006 season was the third season in a row that Miguel Cabrera eclipsed the 100 RBI mark. Cabrera finished the 2006 season, his penultimate season with the Florida Marlins, with 26 home runs, 114 RBI and a lofty .339 batting average. Cabrera earned his third all-star selection and was the recipient of the Silver Slugger Award.
