Rod Strickland starred at DePaul University for three seasons, with his biggest year coming during the 1987-88 campaign. Strickland averaged 20.0 points and 7.8 assists in leading the Blue Demons to a 22-8 overall record. In the previous season, he guided the team to a 28-3 mark. Strickland would enjoy a long NBA career, putting up career averages of 13.2 points and 7.3 assists per game.

Presented here is a 14K gold 2006 Rod Strickland DePaul University Hall of Fame induction ring, featuring a large blue colored center stone. “DePAUL HALL OF FAME” reads around the bezel setting in relief work. One side of the ring features the image of a basketball going through a hoop, with the name “STRICKLAND” in a banner above and the number “10” below. A Blue Demons logo appears on the opposite side along with the year “2006”. The inside of the band – which shows slight wear – includes a manufacturer and 14K mark and is engraved with the name “Rod B Strickland”. This ring is an approximate size 13 and weighs approximately 38.2 grams. This ring comes with a DePaul University Hall of Fame 2006 packet, including an Induction Ceremony certificate, a letter dated January 11, 2006 from the DePaul Athletic Director Jean Lenti Ponsetto and a handwritten thank you card from Thad Dohrn, Director of Development - Athletics.
