The old Yankee Stadium had seen a lot of baseball history since it opened its doors in 1923. A great trivia question is “who hit the first home run in Yankee Stadium?” – the answer being Babe Ruth, Opening Day 1923. A somewhat harder question is: “who hit the last home run in Yankee Stadium?” That would be Alex Rodriguez, September 17, 2008, an 8^th inning solo shot off Scott Linebrink of the White Sox – and this is the bat that A-Rod used to hit that historic final home run.
