Winning the College Football National Championship has become almost routine for the Alabama Crimson Tide under head coach Nick Saban. For as dominating as his squads have been, it was Saban’s first title team - following the 2009 season - that has posted the only undefeated record under his watch. That Alabama team, led by running back Mark Ingram, finished a perfect 14-0. Ingram rushed for 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy. Quarterback Greg McElroy threw for 2,508 yards and 17 TDs with only four interceptions. Alabama defeated the Florida Gators, 32-13, to win the SEC Championship Game, then followed that up with a 37-21 win over Texas in the BCS Championship Game to claim the national title.

Presented here is a very unique opportunity to own three rings from that magical 2009 season – rings commemorating each of the SEC, BCS and NCAA championships. The SEC title ring features the team’s “A” logo – made up of CZs – set on a large crimson stone. “2009 SEC CHAMPIONS” reads in relief work, with rows of additional CZs lining the face’s left and ride sides. An image of a football – boasting “22 SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS” centers one shank of the ring, with the name “BELL” above and “CRIMSON TIDE” below.  The opposite shank displays the SEC Championship Game logo and final score, along with “14-0” at the bottom. Inside the band is the Jostens mark and “YLTM”. This ring weighs approximately 42.6 grams and is an approximate size 9

The BCS ring features a crimson shaped football, showcasing the number 1, surrounded by CZs. “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” reads in relief work. One shank of the ring is centered by the BCS National Championship Game logo, highlighted with enamel. “BELL” appears at the top above the logo, while the teams and final score are shown below. The championship trophy, complete with a CZ for the football top, highlights the opposite shank. “2009” reads on the image of the trophy, with the side also displaying “ALABAMA 14-0”. Engraved inside the band – marked “ELT” – is the name Kenny Bell.  This item is an approximate size 9 and weighs approximately 50.6 grams.

The third ring in the set celebrates the National Championship and features a CZ-adorned letter “A” on a crimson stone. Additional CZs go around the stone, while “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” reads in relief work on the face’s outer perimeter. An image of a football, proclaiming the team’s 13 National Championships, appears on one shank of the ring. Above the football (which includes an enamel-filled number 13) is the name “BELL” while “ROLL TIDE” is below. The opposite shank includes a crest declaring Alabama as national champs, along with their undefeated 14-0 record, and the teams and final score of the title game. This Jostens ring includes the manufacturer and “YLTM” marks inside the band. Approximate weight of this item is 40.9 grams, with the ring an approximate size 9. The set of rings comes with a beautiful wooden presentation box that shows “ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE” and the team’s “A” logo on the outside. This original box has set places for all three rings, designated by glass etchings of “SEC”, “BCS” and “NCAA”, and also includes etched glass on the inside of the lid that lists Alabama’s schedule of opponents and results.
