Alex Rodriguez wore this gray New York Yankees road jersey during the 2009 World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Games 3, 4, and 5 of this six-game World Series took place at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Phillies, with the Yankees winning two of these three contests. In Game 3, an 8-5 New York victory, Rodriguez homered and drove in two runs off 2008 World Series MVP Cole Hamels for the ascendant Yankees. In Game 4, Rodriguez broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the ninth inning with an RBI double off Brad Lidge in the Yankees eventual 7-4 victory. The Phillies earned an 8-6 victory in Game 5 despite Rodriguez’s 2-4 night with two doubles, three RBI, and a run scored. The Yankees clinched their 27th World Series title with a 7-3 victory on their home turf in Game 6.

This offered New York Yankees button-down gray road jersey has “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. Rodriguez’s number “13” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy and white tackle twill below an MLB logo patch. A 2009 World Series patch is sewn on the right sleeve and a 2009 Yankee Stadium Inaugural patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Majestic tag with attached size “48” and “2009” flags is sewn on the front left tail. Rodriguez has signed the left chest of this jersey in black marker, inscribing “2009 World Series Game Used” in addition to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA signed by Alex Rodriguez himself.
