Presented is a David Ortiz signature and inscription on a team-issued Boston Red Sox navy blue game jersey from the 2009 season.  Ortiz has signed “David Ortiz” and inscribed “B.P.” in silver marker between the numbers “3” and “4” on the back of the jersey, just below the “ORTIZ”.  The numbers and letters are sewn in red on white tackle twill.  The front of the jersey has “BOSTON” in red sewn on white sewn onto the blue jersey.  There is a Majestic tag sewn into the bottom of the jersey, and a separate patch just below with the notation “34 54 09” in black on white sewn into the jersey. This item comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (F51315) for the signature.
