Presented is a one-of-a-kind tribute to New York Yankees great Derek Jeter, a 3-D artwork by artist Charles Fazzino on a Yankee Stadium seat back. Jeter has signed his name in the center in silver metallic marker. The artist has signed his name at the bottom in black marker. A five-time World Series champion, Jeter is regarded as one of the primary contributors to the Yankees' success of the late 1990s and early 2000s for his hitting, baserunning, fielding, and leadership. He is the Yankees' all-time career leader in hits (3,465), doubles (544), games played (2,747), stolen bases (358), times on base (4,716), plate appearances (12,602) and at bats (11,195).

The blue plastic 15 x 20½-inch curved seat back, originally from Yankee Stadium Loge Box section 19, Row D, Seat 7, features colorful illustrations and graphics highlighting Jeter’s career with the Yankees, which spanned the years 1995 to 2014. Prominent in the upper left is a 3-D representation of Yankee Stadium from the outside looking down into the stadium. In the upper left corner is a depiction of “The Dive!” from July 1, 2004, while a depiction of “The Flip” from October 13, 2001 is in the upper right corner. The legend “Jeter 5x World Series Champion” is in a cloud alongside Yankee Stadium. Jeter is depicted swinging a bat in the lower left corner with the caption “1996 AL Rookie of the Year” alongside. An illustrated head & shoulder portrait of Jeter is in the lower right corner, with the caption, “The Captain.”

In the center is an illustrated caption “NY 1995 to 2014 Derek Jeter 2 A Yankee for Life!”. Below the caption is a gold metal plaque affixed to the seat back, with the legend engraved in black “Yankee Stadium April 18, 1923 – September 21, 2008.” This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z78382) and a LOA from the artist, Charles Fazzino.  This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH479739) which dates Jeter’s signature to May 11, 2009.
