The Yankees took on the Los Angeles Angels at Yankee Stadium on the 15th, with the home team leaving the eventual 6-2 victors. Rodriguez contributed a double and a walk, scoring in the bottom of the fifth inning on Robinson Cano’s two-run homer. Phil Hughes earned his first win of the season after pitching five strong innings, while Mariano Rivera clinched his fourth save of the year to close out the game.

This offered jersey is a pinstriped button-down with “NY” sewn on the left chest in navy tackle twill. Jackie Robinson’s number “42” is sewn on the back of the jersey in the same fashion. An MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar and a Majestic tag is sewn on the front left tail. Numerous flags are attached to the Majestic tag, including “2010”, size “48”, “Taper”, and “+1[inch] Body” flags, while a “13” tag is sewn below the Majestic tag. Rodriguez has signed the chest of this jersey in bold blue marker, inscribing “Game Used 2010 / Jackie Robinson Day” in addition to his signature.

Also included in this lot are Rodriguez’s white, pinstriped home pants from Jackie Robinson Day in 2010. A Majestic tag and a “13 Rodriguez 35-40 34 C ‘10” swatch are sewn inside the back inside waistband. Rodriguez has signed the left leg in blue marker, inscribing “Game Used 2010 / Jackie Robinson Day” in addition to his signature.
