Presented is a Mike Trout signature and inscription on the full ticket to the July 24, 2011 Los Angeles Angels home game, in which the three-time American League Most Valuable Player hit his first homer in Major League Baseball. Trout has signed his name in black marker on the bottom third of the 2¼ x 6½ -inch white paper ticket for the game against the Baltimore Orioles, and inscribed “1st MLB HR” below his signature. The Angels promoted their 2009 first-round draft pick to the Bigs on July 8, 2011, and he played in his first game that night in centerfield, going 0-for-3 in his debut. He hit his first MLB dinger against Orioles pitcher Mark Worrell on July 24th in the bottom of the eighth inning with two on, one out to leftfield-centerfield en route to a 9-3 Angels win.
