Former New York Yankees slugger Robinson Cano won the 2011 All-Star home run derby with a remarkable 12 homers in the final round. The rest of the season saw Cano hitting .302 with 28 homers as the Yankees cruised to another post-season berth.
This Axis Customized Model bat was used during the 2011 season and shows outstanding use. This un-cracked bat has numerous ball marks and stitch marks present throughout the barrel, along with blue ink transfers and bat rack streaks. There is a heavy coating of pine tar from the mid-handle to the middle of the barrel. The handle has been taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip. The length of the bat “34” and the weight “31.3 oz” has been handwritten in black marker on the knob end. Cano has signed the barrel in silver pen adding “Game Used”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12061) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (6A93989) for the signature and inscription.
