It came as a shock to no one that the Los Angeles Angels shelled out $254 million dollars to get Albert Pujols’ name on a 10-year contract in 2012. The first baseman not only resumed his march to the Hall of Fame but also took on a secondary role in mentoring the Angels young star, Mike Trout. This 2012 Marucci AP26-LDM model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Several ball marks are visible on the barrel along with cleat imprints. A heavy coat of pine tar is on the handle and the bat’s date of manufacture “05/28/12”, length “4”, weight “2.0” and Pujols’ number “5” are stamped into the knob. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10706) for the game use that has been graded a GU 9, and MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 323974) for the signature.
