Atlanta Braves third baseman and Hall of Famer Chipper Jones wore this Mizuno Vintage Pro batting glove during the 2012 MLB season. This was Jones’ final season, at the age of 40, and he proved that he could still hang with the best players in baseball. In only 112 games, Jones hit 14 home runs with 62 RBI and a .287 batting average as he made his eighth and final All-Star team. The 1999 NL MVP finished his career with 468 home runs and a .303 batting average.
These gloves display moderate use and were made of gray leather and Lycra, with Velcro-fastened elastic wrist straps and soft rubber accents. The top of the wrist straps have “CJ 10” embroidered in raised white stitching. Jones has signed these gloves in silver marker and inscribed “Game Used”. These gloves come with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and individual COAs from Beckett Authentication (Q26147 & Q26148) for the signatures.
