The United States Men’s Olympic Basketball team entered the 2012 Summer Olympics in London as the reigning champions, having secured gold in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Coached by the legendary Mike Krzyzewski and a roster featuring LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Anthony Davis, and Carmelo Anthony, the Men’s team steamrolled their competition by going 8-0 and defeating their opponents by an average of 32 points. The team set an Olympic single-game record for points when they drained 156 points against Nigeria in the preliminary round. These presented full tickets are from the Semi-Final Game against Argentina held on August 10th, at the North Greenwich Arena where the United States won 109-83. Durant scored a team-high 19 points with LeBron James adding 18 points and Kobe Bryant adding 13 points. The second ticket is from their 2008 rematch for the Gold against Spain on August 12th, when they defeated the Spaniards 107-100 for the gold that saw Durant score 30 points, with LeBron adding 19 and Bryant adding 17 points in the USA victory. The pink and white tickets feature an illustration of a basketball player mid-dunk and feature the time, date, and location of the game on the top of the ticket. The midsection of the ticket features the illustration and arena location. The ticket from the Semi-Final Game on August 10th comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22173021) who gave the ticket a grade of NM 7. The ticket from the Final gold medal game comes encapsulated and authenticated by PSA (22173018) who gave the ticket a grade of EX-MT 6.
