Throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s, Chipper Jones was among the best third baseman in baseball, a perennial All-Star who could hit for both power and average. In 2018, Jones was honored with induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, finding a spot in Cooperstown on his first ballot. The Atlanta Braves superstar compiled a .303 batting average for his career while crushing 468 home runs. Jones led the Braves to a World Series title in 1995, and claimed the 1999 National League MVP Award with a Triple Crown slash of .319/45/110. Jones, the 2008 National League batting champ, retired after the 2012 MLB season.

Offered here are a pair of game used and signed size 14 Mizuno cleats worn by Jones during his final MLB season, in 2012. Jones played in 112 games for the Braves in 2012, hitting for a healthy .287 batting average and making his eighth career All-Star Game. These Mizuno cleats are black, blue, gray, and white, with white and red Mizuno logos present on each side of the cleats. The tongues of each shoe are white, with Jones’ personal logo applied to the top of each. The soles are gray, with nine metal spikes on each shoe. “1993 2012” and “Chipper” are printed in gray on each shoe, while Jones’ number “10” is applied to each heel in blue. Jones has signed each toe in silver marker, inscribing “Game Used” beneath his signature. These shoes each come with a COA from PSA/DNA for the signatures (4A62608 and 4A62609).
