Trevor Story, the Rockies shortstop used this Louisville Slugger during his 2012 season with the Asheville Tourists of the SALLY League. Story hit .277 with 18 home runs, earning himself a promotion to Modesto the following summer. The pre-rookie Louisville Slugger C271 model bat shows awesome game use with a cracked handle. The barrel exhibits many ball marks which include leather ball scuffs, ink transfers and stitch impression. There are several bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints visible. The handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and the knob has been stamped with the bat’s specs. Story has completed this gamer with his signature on the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18229) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5 and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25416) for the signature.
