Former Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock used this Louisville Slugger C271L model bat for the last time during his rookie season on the June 23rd, 2013 game when Arizona hosted the Cincinnati Reds. Pollock broke this bat during bottom of the seventh inning of Reds pitcher Mat Latos fouling off a pitch. This bat displays outstanding game use and has the aforementioned crack in the handle. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuff marks present on the barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and the bat’s manufacture date “08/27/12” and length/weight “34.0/31.0” are stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK611165) authenticating this bat was broken during the seventh inning at-bat on June 23rd, 2013.
