Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo wore this blue Cubs alternate jersey on June 19th, 2013 during the Cubs 4-1 loss on the road to the St. Louis Cardinals. Rizzo had one of the Cubs two hits and scored the team’s only run, crossing the plate as a result of Darwin Barney’s sacrifice fly in the top of the second. Rizzo also drew an HBP in this contest. Rizzo had a breakout year in 2013, hitting 23 homers with 80 RBI and 40 doubles in his first season as a full-time starter.
This blue button-down alternate jersey has a Cubs logo patch sewn on the left chest. A National League patch is sewn on the right sleeve. “RIZZO” and his number “44” are sewn on the back of the jersey in red and white tackle twill.
