New York Yankees outfielder and 2001 American League MVP Ichiro Suzuki wore this pinstriped Yankees home jersey on July 8th and September 3rd, 2013. The July 8th game saw the Kansas City Royals visit the Bronx, with Jeremy Guthrie of the Royals taking the hill against Phil Hughes of the Yanks. Ichiro appeared in this game as a seventh inning pinch hitter for Alberto Gonzalez, lining a single to centerfield in his only at bat of this game, a 5-1 Royals win. The second game this jersey was worn during took place on September 3rd against the Chicago White Sox. The Yankees won this game 6-4, with Boone Logan earning the win and Mariano Rivera clinching his 40th of 44 saves in his final MLB season.

This jersey is a button-down pinstriped home number, with a Yankees “NY” logo sewn on the left chest in navy tackle twill. Ichiro’s number “31” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy tackle twill below an MLB logo patch sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag is sewn on the front left tail above a Yankees barcode tag. “2013”, size “42”, and “+.25[inch] slv” flags are attached to the Majestic tag. Ichiro has signed the “3” digit on the back of this jersey in silver marker. This jersey comes with a COA from Steiner Sports for Ichiro’s autograph, a LOA from Steiner Sports, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 689142) dating the use of the jersey to the July 8th and September 3rd games.
