Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was presented with this NCAA Top 15 All-Time March Madness Player award in 2013, the 75th Anniversary of the first NCAA Basketball Tournament. Abdul-Jabbar was a three-time national champion while at UCLA, and he claimed the Final Four Most Outstanding Player award each time. Over his three seasons playing at the varsity level with UCLA, Abdul-Jabbar averaged 26.4 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. Abdul-Jabbar was inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995 and the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006.
This offered award measures 12 inches tall and stands on a 5-inch diameter stone pedestal. “Top 15 All-Time March Madness Player” is etched across the top of the trophy, while a raised March Madness 75th anniversary is applied to the body of the trophy. Etched on the pedestal in white is “Kareem Abdul-Jabbar UCLA”. This stunning and historically significant trophy comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar himself.
