Former New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano spent his final season in the Bronx in 2013 and wore this home button-down pinstripe jersey for the final time on August 15th against the visiting Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Cano went 3-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored as the Yankees lost to the Angels 8-4. This jersey has also been photo matched to seven games total by Sports Investors Authentication, including the August 13th game in which Cano went 4-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.
The jersey, which was manufactured by Majestic and is a size 48, displays heavy game use with dirt stains on the back right shoulder and top left shoulder. The interlocking “NY” has been sewn on in navy tackle twill on the upper left chest and Cano’s number 24 has been sewn on the back in the same navy tackle twill. The Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with “48” and “Taper” flags attached. There is also a Yankees barcode that reads “0000002883”. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (EK800158), authenticating that it was worn during the August 15th game and a STICKER ONLY from Steiner (202865). Additionally, this jersey comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (190325B1), who have photo matched this jersey to seven games.
