The Rockies shortstop didn't let a fractured rib get in the way of hitting .312 with 25 home runs in 2013. His resilience was recognized by the fans who voted him the starting shortstop for the 2013 All-Star team. Tulowitzki used this Tucci TL-271-M model bat during the 2013 season. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stich impressions, blue ink transfers and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the lower handle and there is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats manufactured after 2009. Tulowitzki has signed this bat in bold silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “2” and “GAME USED”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B09986) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10, plus a COA from Beckett Authentication (G38058) for the signature.
