The prodigal son returned home as LeBron James made his triumphant return to Cleveland before the 2014-15 season. James was, unsurprisingly, one of the two best players in the Association in 2014-15, averaging 25.3 points, 7.4 assists, and 6.0 rebounds per game for the Eastern Conference champion Cavaliers. James and the Cavaliers dropped only two games in the Eastern Conference playoffs, although an injury-depleted Cavaliers team fell to the Golden State Warriors in a six-game Finals. James was the leading scorer in five of the six Finals games, averaging an obscene 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game against the Warriors. James would spend four successful seasons in Cleveland, leading them to four-straight NBA Finals appearances and winning the title in 2016.

This navy alternate mesh jersey has been dated to two seasons as “CAVS” and LeBron’s number “23” on the front in burgundy fabric on yellow tackle twill. The neck and arm openings are trimmed with burgundy and gold ribbing. An Adidas 2XL label is sewn in the front left tail with “LENGTH +2” flag. The Adidas label and an NBA Authentics “EVERY PLAYER, EVERY GAME label with “CCA03198” stamped on to it has been sewn adjacent. A yellow band with burgundy writing that reads “All for one. One for all.” Is sewn on upside down below the Adidas tag. A size “2XL2” is sewn inside the collar. The back has number “23” sewn in burgundy mesh on yellow tackle twill with “JAMES” sewn on in yellow tackle twill and the NBA logo embroidered above the name. LeBron signed his name in black marker diagonally on the “2” on the back. The jersey displays moderate game use and comes with a LOA from MEARS (316514) for the game use, dating this jersey to 2014-16 and graded it a perfect A10. There is an additional LOA from former Cavaliers’ head coach Tyronn Lue, who states in his LOA that this jersey was given to him after an NBA game. There is also a LOA from JSA (Z62023) for LeBron’s signature.
