Detroit Tigers superstar Miguel Cabrera wore this “Fiesta Tigres” alternate home jersey on August 2nd, 2014 against the Colorado Rockies at Comerica Park. Cabrera led the Tigers to an 11-5 victory over the National League ballclub, crushing a solo home run in the third inning off Rockies starter Tyler Matzek. This was Cabrera’s 17th homer of the season and the 382nd of his career, moving Cabrera past Albert Belle and into a temporary tie with Jim Rice and Frank Howard in the all-time list. Cabrera, an All-Star in 2014, led the American League with 52 doubles while hitting .313 with 25 homers, 109 RBI, and 101 runs.
This offered Tigers button-down white home jersey has “Tigres” and Cabrera’s number “24” sewn on the chest in navy tackle twill. “CABRERA” and a second “24” are sewn on the back of the jersey in navy tackle twill below a MLB logo patch. The underarms are constructed of a white mesh fabric and a “CoolBase” flag is attached to the left side of the jersey. A Majestic tag is applied to the front left tail above a “24 46 ’14 12” tag. “JSG” is handwritten on the Majestic tag in black marker. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 563157).
