Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts has emerged as one of the premier players in all of baseball. Now being mentioned in the same breath as Mike Trout, Betts’ power surge to start the 2018 season has fueled the Red Sox offense and has helped the team keep pace with the equally prominent New York Yankees’ bats as this promises to be one of the best division races in baseball.   Betts made his Major League debut against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium on June 29th of 2014. Betts collected a single in three at-bats and scored a run to help lead the Red Sox to an 8-5 victory in the Bronx. Betts finished the season playing 52 games, batting .291 with five home runs and 18 RBI.

Offered here is the very jersey worn by Mookie Betts for his Major League debut. This classic button-down road gray Boston Red Sox jersey features “BOSTON” in Tuscan font sewn across the chest in red and navy tackle twill. This Majestic size 44 Cool Base jersey has the Red Sox red hanging socks logo patch sewn on the left sleeve above the Majestic logo which has been embroidered in red. The back of the jersey has the MLB logo patch in navy, white and red on the neck with “BETTS” and his number “50” in McAuliffe style in red and navy tackle twill. The Majestic size 44 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail. This jersey displays light game use and comes with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (180602A4), who have photo matched this jersey to Betts’ debut game on June 29th at Yankee Stadium. There is also a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ208711), dating this jersey to the June 29th game.
