In just his second year in the big leagues, Nolan Arenado set the Rockies club record for consecutive hitting streak by hitting safely in 28 games. Despite playing in only 111 games, Arenado finished the season with 18 home runs and 61 RBI. His 2014 Old Hickory J154 model bat shows great game use. The barrel exhibits many ball marks that include white leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. There are bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints visible and the knob has an “ARENADO” sticker affixed. The handle has been taped in a spiral of adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a heavy layer of pine tar applied. Arenado has signed the barrel in contrasting silver marker, adding his number “28.” This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18234) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25413) for the signature.
