For the second year in a row, Yasiel Puig's unbridled talent helped lead the Dodgers to the post season. Puig's 2014 number stacked up to a .296 average coupled with 16 homers, almost an exact duplicate of his previous Rookie of the Year season. Puig wore these size 12 ½ blue cleats with gray and red trim during the 2014 season. The cleats are mostly blue with a gray mesh padded tong with “PUIG 66” printed in red on the top. “66” is in white on a blue panel at the base of the laces. The outsides of the cleats have the Nike swoosh in gray with a red border and “PUIG 66” is in white by the ankle, while the insteps have the Nike swoosh in gray with a red border. The ends of the toes are bordered in gray with a molded red covering. The bottoms have red molded plastic with nine metal spikes on each shoe. These cleats display outstanding game use with various abrasions and dirt stains and dirt residue on the spikes. Puig has signed each cleat on the toe in silver marker on the toes and inscribed “66”. “GAME USED” has also been inscribed on each instep along the upper part of the Nike swoosh. These come with a LOA from J.T. Sports for the game use and individual “Yasiel PUIG 66” holograms on each heel.
