Connor McDavid entered the NHL in 2015-16 with the sky-high expectations befitting a first overall draft pick. The latest savior of the Edmonton Oilers franchise, McDavid almost instantly became one of the best players in hockey, notching 16 goals and 32 assists in only 45 games during his rookie season. In years two and three, McDavid won both the Ted Lindsay and Art Ross Trophies while scoring 100 and 108 points, respectively. In 2016-17, McDavid became the youngest player since Sidney Crosby to claim the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player. A three-time All-Star, McDavid set a career-high with 116 points on 41 goals and 75 assists during the 2018-19 season. The sky is the limit for the Canada international, with more than a decade at the top of the NHL in the future for McDavid.

McDavid wore this white Edmonton Oilers jersey, which has been photo matched, in two games, including the third game of his NHL career, played against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center. McDavid scored the first goal of his career in this game, controlling the puck in front of goal before sweeping his shot past Stars netminder Kari Lehtonen to tie the score at 2-2. While Dallas won the day 4-2, the legend of McDavid was born, and the landscape of the NHL experienced a seismic shift. McDavid also wore this jersey on October 10th, in his second NHL game, against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena in a 2-0 Edmonton loss.

This offered Oilers jersey is white, with blue and orange accents and a large Oilers logo patch sewn on the chest. McDavid’s number “97” is sewn on the sleeves and back of this jersey in blue, white, and orange tackle twill. “McDAVID” is sewn across the back shoulders in blue tackle twill over a matching white nameplate and below a Reebok logo. An NHL logo patch is sewn on the front collar. A size “56” flag is attached to the back inside collar. A MeiGray 2015-16 Game Worn patch is sewn inside the jersey and “1st NHL Goal” is handwritten on the fight strap in silver marker. This historic jersey from a future Hall of Famer comes with a LOA from the Oilers/MeiGray (M02827), authenticating that McDavid wore this jersey to score his first NHL goal. Additionally, there is a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication, who have photo matched this jersey.
