The supremely talented basketball prodigy Zion Williamson wore these low-top Adidas Superstar sneakers in his freshman/sophomore era of high school. Williamson, a star at Spartanburg Day School in South Carolina, began his high school career as a 6’3” dynamo, partnering with fellow NBA rookie Ja Morant on the South Carolina Hornets AAU squad. As a freshman, Williamson averaged 24.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game to earn All-State and All-Region honors.

In his sophomore season, the future Duke star averaged an incredible 28.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, adding 3.9 blocks and 2.7 steals per game on defense. Williamson led Spartanburg to their inaugural South Carolina Independent School Association Region 1-2A title as a sophomore with his singularly talented play. Williamson exploded onto the national scene in the summer leading up to his junior year, winning co-MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 Camp and claiming the title in Under Armour’s Elite 24 dunk contest. After a wildly successful season at Duke University, Williamson was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

These offered Adidas Superstar sneakers are black and white with yellow accents on the heels and tongue. Three white Adidas stripes are present on both sides of each shoe, with printed in gold lettering on the outside of both shoes. The laces are yellow and black and a yellow Adidas logo is printed on both tongues. Gold Adidas trefoil logos are present on both heels. These shoes are a size 12. In the summer of 2019, Williamson signed a footwear endorsement deal with Jordan Brand, making these Adidas sneakers an incredible collector’s item! This comes with a LOA from MEARS (316605) for the use. There is also a Letter of Provenance from a source very close to the Williamson Family that will accompany this lot.
