Chicago Cubs All-Star first baseman Anthony Rizzo and his Chicago Cubs won their first playoff series since 1945 when they defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card Playoff Game and then the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Division Series. Rizzo’s two home runs helped the Cubs to defeat their long-time rivals in the Division Series and Chicago faced off with the New York Mets in the NLCS.

     Offered is an Anthony Rizzo size 50 Majestic Cool Base Chicago Cubs button-down road gray game jersey for Games 1 and 2 of the National League Championship Series at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens. “CHICAGO” is sewn on prominently across the chest in blue and white tackle twill. Rizzo’s number “44” is sewn on the left center chest in red and white tackle twill. The Majestic tag is heat-pressed on the lower front left tail and Majestic barcode tag is heat-pressed below the size tag and reads “44 5OT 2015”.

     The back of the jersey has “RIZZO” sewn on in blue and white tackle twill, with his number “44” sewn on in red and white tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Cubs’ red “C” logo with the blue walking bear cub, while the right sleeve has a vinyl “2015 POSTSEASON” patch and a circular “14” patch in honor of the late Ernie Banks. Rizzo signed his name on the left “4” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “44” and he inscribed “2015 Game Used NLCS Jersey” on the right “4”. This jersey shows light game use and comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 117224). Please note that MLB deemed this jersey “Team Issued”, however, there is an additional authentication from Fanatics (1100610), who have authenticated the game use, signature and inscriptions on this jersey and the hologram is affixed to the left “4” on the back of the jersey.
