Cincinnati Reds star Joey Votto wore this gray Reds road jersey on September 14th, 2015 against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. The giants won this game 5-3, with George Kontos earning the win over Keyvious Sampson of the Reds. Votto went 0-2 in this game, although he drew a bases-loaded walk to drive in a run. Votto was issued a second free pass in this game, one of his MLB-best 143 on the season. Votto finished the 2015 campaign with an excellent Triple Crown slash line of .314/29/80 to go with a .459 OBP and 7.7 bWAR, a career high.
This button-down Reds road jersey has “CINCINNATI” and Votto’s number “19” sewn on the chest in red, white, and black tackle twill. “VOTTO” and a second “19” are sewn on the back of the jersey in the same fashion. A Reds patch and a Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve, while a 2015 All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right sleeve. A Majestic size “44” tag is applied to the front left tail. Votto has signed the “1” digit on the back of this jersey in black marker, inscribing “GU ‘15” next to his signature.
