The soon-to-be Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett wore these Anta KG6 sneakers during the 2015-16 NBA season. The left shoe of this set has been conclusively photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the December 28th, 2015 game against the San Antonio Spurs in San Antonio. Garnett, in his final NBA season, played in 38 games for the Timberwolves as he enjoyed a well-deserved retirement tour across the NBA.
During the December 28th game, Garnett scored 10 points and grabbed three rebounds in San Antonio’s 101-95 win. The Timberwolves relied on Garnett to mentor their young star Karl-Anthony Towns, and his veteran input helped the former Kentucky phenom on his way to an 18 and 10 season. These offered Anta KG6 sneakers are black, with a silver Anta logo applied to each heel. The shoes are a size 16.5. There is a LOA from Resolution Photomatching (426351) that accompanies this lot. Please not that Resolution was only able to conclusively match the left sneaker to the December 28th, 2015 game, however this was due to a lack of image clarity for the right shoe and they believe both sneakers were worn during this game.
