The brightest talent in the major leagues today, Mike Trout has surpassed any expectation placed on him when he first came up to the majors as a 19-year-old rookie in 2011. Anytime one comes across a game used bat from this 3-time AL MVP and Rookie of the Year Award winner, it is something to behold – but this particular gamer has the something “extra” to it – it was used by Trout to hit a pair of home runs on successive days. The first homer was hit on May 6, 2015 during their 4-3 win against the visiting Seattle Mariners. The blast came in the bottom of the 3rd inning off Roenis Elias and exited the field over the centerfield wall. It was his 7th of the season. The next day, Trout hit number 8 of 2015, a bottom of the first inning solo shot to dead center off Houston’s Collin McHugh.

These two dingers were the young star’s 105 and 106 career home runs. Trout had to finally put his lucky bat to rest when it was broken hitting a pop fly to second base off Roberto Hernandez in the 5th inning of the May 08, 2015 game against Houston. A great Mike Trout gamer attributed to two home runs. The Old Hickory MT27* model bat show great game use with a broken handle. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions, undoubtedly two of these from home runs 7 and 8. The impression from a weighted batting donut is visible on the barrel alongside cleat imprints. The handle has a moderate coat of pine tar and the knob and lower handle has been taped in Trout’s typical fashion to enhance his grip. The Angels star has signed the barrel in silver marker and inscribed the significance of the bat, “15 G/U HR #7 vs Sea HR #8 vs Hou.” This bat comes with MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ376696) and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13521) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9 and a LOA from Anderson Authentics (2773) for the game use and signature.
